Suspects Busted for Cocaine Possession, Shoplifting in Wyckoff, New Jersey

Police in Wyckoff NJ recently arrested two people on drug possession charges and shoplifting charges after they reportedly got locked out of their car.
According to law enforcement, the Wyckoff Police Department got a call around 10:30 p.m. from a CVS employee. The worker told police that two people were inside the store and acting suspiciously.
When Wyckoff police officers arrived at the CVS, which is located on Franklin Avenue in Wyckoff New Jersey, they found the suspects attempting to use a coat hanger to open the door to a car in the CVS parking lot. The suspects had reportedly locked their keys in their vehicle.
Police questioned the suspects, who allegedly provided conflicting stories about what had happened.
When police subsequently searched the suspects, one of them was allegedly in possession of a cocaine pipe with a substance that appeared to be cocaine residue. She also allegedly had a used syringe, as well as other paraphernalia commonly associated with heroin.
The 27-year-old woman, who is from Garfield NJ and who allegedly had the cocaine pipe, was arrested and charged with cocaine possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Meanwhile, the male suspect, a 27-year-old from Prospect Park, was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting because he allegedly had a laser pointer that was reported stolen from the CVS.

Additionally, authorities indicated that the suspects had arrest warrants from other areas in Bergen County.
