Rochelle Park NJ Police Looking for Man Who Allegedly Robbed Community Bank
Rochelle Park NJ police are searching for the suspect in a recent bank robbery. According to law enforcement, the robbery occurred at the Community Bank of Bergen County located on Rochelle Avenue in Rochelle Park, New Jersey.
If the suspect is eventually identified and apprehended, he will be subject to significant penalties. As set forth by N.J.S.A. 2C:15-1, robbery is typically classified as a second degree felony. This means the suspect could potentially be sentenced to 5–10 years in New Jersey State Prison.

Robbery Investigation in Rochelle Park, NJ
The suspect who recently committed a robbery at a bank in Rochelle Park, NJ reportedly entered the bank during the morning hours and asked if he could cash coins. He then exited the bank before returning a short time later, at which point he approached a bank teller. The suspect then allegedly ordered the bank teller to place an undisclosed amount of cash into a plastic bag. The bag was red and had a logo which read “Against All Odds.”
A bank customer saw what was happening and took a quick picture of the suspect with her cell phone. After getting the money from the teller, the suspect exited the bank and fled the scene. He reportedly drove away in a silver-colored sedan and headed east on Central Avenue.
Rochelle Park police officers got to the bank a short time later and spoke with witnesses. Customers in a diner located next to the bank said that they noticed the suspect acting suspiciously before he entered the bank. The suspect has been described as a black or Hispanic man. He is somewhere between the ages of 25 and 28, and he stands roughly 6 feet tall. At the time of the bank robbery, he was wearing a black bubble jacket, a black hat with a Miami Heat logo, and bright blue sneakers.
