Roselle NJ Man Sentenced to Three Years in State Prison for Distributing Child Porn
A Roselle NJ man was sentenced to three (3) years in NJ State Prison for keeping child pornography on his computers.
24-year-old Craig Dotson had been charged with keeping on his two home computers more than 100 files of children engaging in sex acts.
In 2011, law enforcement agencies investigated Mr. Dotson and found that a computer in his home had been used to share child pornography. During a raid of Mr. Dotson’s residence, state police confiscated two desktop computers.
Later, Mr. Dotson admitted using Internet file-sharing software to create files of child pornography that could be downloaded by other users.
In August, Mr. Dotson pleaded guilty to distribution of child pornography.
Last month, in Union County Superior Court, Mr. Dotson was sentenced to serve three (3) years in state prison.
