Police Look for Man Accused of Assaulting East Rutherford Woman with Bleach
East Rutherford NJ police are trying to find a man accused of attacking a woman with bleach earlier this year.
The violent incident occurred on September 13, 2016. According to law enforcement, the suspect got into a verbal argument with someone who lived on Schindler Court in East Rutherford, NJ. The altercation turned physical, with the suspect allegedly urinating on the woman’s floor. When the victim got a bottle of bleach to clean up the suspect’s urine, the suspect allegedly grabbed the bleach and poured it on her.
The suspect also allegedly dragged the victim across the bleach-covered floor before punching her multiple times. He then reportedly ran out of the residence and fled the area.
The suspect is a 28-year-old resident of East Rutherford, New Jersey. Police have yet to him, but that hasn’t stop them from looking far and wide. It is believed that the suspect may currently be hiding out in Paterson NJ or the Bronx, NY.
If and when East Rutherford law enforcement is able to locate and arrest the suspect, he will face serious criminal charges for aggravated assault.
