Palisades Park NJ Man Accused of Drug Distribution in Hudson County
A Palisades Park man and a North Bergen man face serious criminal charges for drug distribution in Hudson County, New Jersey.
The suspects were arrested after police officers conducted searches of their residences and reportedly discovered large amounts of methamphetamine, cocaine, and marijuana. The first search was conducted at the North Bergen suspect’s home on the 9200 block of Kennedy Boulevard, while the second search was conducted at the Palisades Park suspect’s house on the 100 block of Grantwood Avenue.
The Palisades Park suspect is a 57-year-old male and the North Bergen suspect is a 48-year-old male. Both men have been charged with numerous crimes, including possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
If the men are convicted on the most serious charges, they would be subject to severe penalties. That’s because the large quantities of illegal drugs allegedly found in their possession would trigger first degree felony punishments. The Palisades Park NJ suspect could be sentenced to 10-20 years in New Jersey State Prison. Meanwhile, the North Bergen NJ suspect could be sentenced to life imprisonment because he has a prior conviction for drug distribution on his criminal record.
Both suspects are currently being held at the Hudson County Jail in Kearny, NJ.
