A Fairview New Jersey man has been accused of sexually molesting an underage girl.

According to law enforcement, the suspect inappropriately touched a minor at an undisclosed location in Fairview, NJ. The victim reported the alleged sexual abuse to the Fairview Police Department, which subsequently notified the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit. The police department and the prosecutor’s office then conducted a joint investigation into the sex crime allegations.

Detectives interviewed the suspect and eventually determined that enough evidence existed to place him under arrest.

The suspect is a 45-year-old male who lives on Third Street in Fairview NJ and owns a boxing gym in West New York. He faces multiple criminal charges, including aggravated criminal sexual contact and child endangerment.

If the suspect is ultimately convicted on the most serious charges, he could end up spending several years behind bars.

After being arrested and charged, the suspect was ordered held at the Bergen County Jail in Hackensack NJ on a $50K bail amount.
