Woman Allegedly Stabbed Ridgefield Park NJ Man During Domestic Dispute
Police recently arrested a Paterson NJ woman who allegedly cut a man with a kitchen knife in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey.
According to authorities, the 22-year-old suspect got into an argument with the 33-year-old victim at a residence located on Maple Street in Ridgefield Park, NJ. The altercation mostly involved screaming before it became physical.
At some point during the fight, the suspect allegedly grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the victim.
Afterwards, the suspect allegedly ran outside and slashed the tires on the victim’s car before fleeing the scene on foot.
The Ridgefield Park Police Department responded to the situation after receiving a call about someone screaming at the residence. When police officers arrived at the scene, they found the victim suffering from a cut on his upper arm.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, where he received medical treatment for his injuries.
Meanwhile, Ridgefield Park police, Bogota police, and members of the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department canvassed the area and found the suspect in a parking lot located near the site of the alleged assault.
The suspect has been charged with a number of crimes, including aggravated assault, criminal mischief, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
After being arrested and charged, the suspect was transported to the Bergen County Jail in Hackensack, NJ. She is being held at the correctional facility in lieu of $75,000 bail.
