West New York Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting 12-Year-Old Girl in Fairview, NJ
Fairview NJ police recently arrested a man accused of sexually assaulting an underage girl at a local residence.
The Fairview Police Department and the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office opened an investigation into the suspect after receiving a report that the victim, a 12-year-old girl, had been sexually assaulted. The victim’s family initially contacted Fairview police, which then notified Bergen County NJ prosecutors.
The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit conducted an investigation and soon determined that enough evidence existed to arrest the suspect in connection with the alleged sexual assault of the juvenile.
The suspect allegedly committed the sexual assaults on more than one instance at a home located in Fairview, NJ.
The suspect, a 25-year-old man from West New York, has been charged with multiple sex crimes, including sexual assault, criminal sexual contact, and child endangerment.
After being arrested and charged, the suspect was remanded to the Bergen County Jail in Hackensack, New Jersey. He was being held at the jail in lieu of a massive $250K bail amount.
