Two Men Arrested, Accused of Trying to Burglarize Home in Saddle River, NJ
Saddle River NJ police arrested two men who allegedly tried to break into a residence.
Police received a report of two men attempting to burglarize a home on Chestnut Ridge Road in Saddle River, New Jersey.
When officers arrived at the scene, the suspects were already gone. Witnesses at the scene told the officers that the suspects fled in a motor vehicle. A resident of the home provided officers with a detailed description of the vehicle.
A short time later, police officers located a vehicle matching the description. The occupants of the vehicle were two 25-year-old men from Paterson, NJ.
The vehicle occupants were placed under arrest without incident. They have been charged with a number of criminal offenses, including burglary, defiant trespass, unlawful possession of a weapon, illegal possession of a controlled dangerous substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
After being arrested and charged, the suspects were transported to the Bergen County Jail on $50,000 bail amounts.
