Garfield NJ Woman Connected to Several Thefts, Burglaries in New Jersey
Police recently connected a Garfield New Jersey woman to a theft in Boonton Township last year.
According to authorities, the 23-year-old cleaning woman stole almost $3,000 worth of jewelry from a home she was working at in Boonton Township, New Jersey.
The theft was first reported to police on February 20, 2014.
Boonton Township detectives conducted a lengthy investigation into the case. Investigators eventually determined that the suspect probably committed the theft.
The suspect, who is a resident of Garfield NJ, has been charged with third degree theft of movable property.
Remarkably, the suspect was already in Bergen County Jail in Hackensack NJ when the charges were filed against her. According to the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect is currently being held at the jail on unrelated theft charges out of Upper Saddle River, New Jersey.
According to inmate records, the suspect also faces a number of other theft charges. The suspect has been charged with a burglary in Wallington, New Jersey.
Additionally, she has been accused of burglarizing a residence on Orchard Street in Garfield NJ. This break-in allegedly involved another suspect.
