Elmwood Park Criminal Defense Lawyers
“At the Tormey Law Firm, our criminal defense attorneys have been appearing in Elmwood Park Municipal Court for many years fighting disorderly persons charges for simple assault, marijuana possession, harassment, and shoplifting. Our attorneys have seen it all and will fight to have your charges dismissed completely”
Elmwood Park is a busy court in Bergen County that handles minor criminal charges (known as disorderly persons and petty disorderly persons offenses), municipal ordinance violations, and traffic offenses (including drunk driving). At the Tormey Law Firm, we have former prosecutors who used to prosecute these cases for the State of NJ and who now put their experience and expertise to work for our clients facing similar offenses. Mr. Tormey himself has received numerous accolades and awards including being recognized as one of the top ten criminal lawyers in the State of NJ by the American Jurist Institute.
“The first step in finding the right NJ criminal lawyer is to choose someone who’s not afraid to stand up in court and fight to keep you out of trouble.”
