Burglary Attempt Reported at “Sopranos” Strip Club in Lodi, NJ
Lodi NJ police are looking for suspects in the reported burglary of a local strip club which was featured prominently on “The Sopranos.”
The Satin Dolls strip club, which is best known as the location for shots of the fictional Bada Bing Club on the hit HBO show “The Sopranos,” has been targeted by would-be robbers twice in recent weeks. Satin Dolls is located on Route 17 in Lodi, New Jersey.
The previous robbery was committed by two men who were armed with shotguns as they entered the club during late-night hours and stole $30,000.
The most recent incident occurred after operating hours.
According to authorities, a suspect smashed a front glass door in order to gain access to the strip club. Once inside the club, the suspect allegedly pried open an office door. Police believe that the culprit was trying to get to the business’ safe.
A cleaning crew discovered the break-in attempt several hours later.
Operators of the strip club have not yet reported any missing items or cash. Additionally, there were no signs of damage to the office safe.
Lodi NJ police are actively investigating the reported break-in. At this time, investigators have not yet determined if the burglary attempt is related to the earlier robbery.
